But he instructed takeaway Farsley Fire and Smoke, in Leeds: “No salad. I’m Scottish.
“They’ll revoke my passport in the event that they catch me consuming greens.”
The takeaway shared the bizarre request on social media, the place one wag quipped: “I’m extra impressed you extracted £14 from a Scotsman for a burger.”
Another questioned: “Scottish but no Irn Bru?!”
Takeaway boss Ashley Turner mentioned: “Respecting cultural values is admittedly essential for us.
“If a Scotsman needs no salad then we do all we will to make sure he leaves one pleased and glad Scotsman.
