All Africa Music Awards, 2019 AFRIMA Full Winners List

Here is the list of AFRIMA winners of the 6th All Africa Music Awards, held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the Eko Convention Center Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The winners were announced in the 36 categories of the awards ceremony, which includes the continental and regional categories.

The continental category rewards African artists in various genres and forms of music, while the regional category celebrates the outstanding achievements of African artists in their region of origin.

In addition, the 6th AFRIMA Legendary Awards have been announced. a recognition of those who have had a positive impact on the world, using their expertise in the music, arts and culture industry.

Unlike others, this category is not open to public voting but is determined by the African Union, the AFRIMA International Committee and the AFRIMA Jury.

Recipients of this year’s Legendary Awards are the international icon of Nigerian music, 2Baba; and the veteran of Congolese music, Awilo Longomba.
