Nursery employee Hayley, 37, mentioned: “His head was again. He went all floppy. I knew he was gone.

“I remembered my coaching a yr earlier than.

“I did compressions for 3 minutes then he got here spherical.”

A vet’s assistant utilized oxygen till an ambulance arrived.

Brodie’s coronary heart stopped twice extra in hospital. He is now recovering from a collapsed lung.

Mum-of-three Hayley, of Melksham, Wiltshire, is campaigning to make CPR coaching for brand new dad and mom obligatory.

Her petition has accrued over 200 signatures already.

The relieved mum mentioned: “It was probably the most terrible day in my life and it’s been haunting me ever since.

“I don’t exit usually with out my husband – he’s my rock. He retains me sane.

“I’m concentrating on this petition to make CPR coaching for brand new dad and mom obligatory as a result of it means I’m concentrating my efforts into one thing good.

“My anger, my stress, my fear, all concentrated into one thing good.”
