The Grammy Award has nominated Nigerian Afrobeats singer Burna Boy’s African Giant album as Best World Music Album.
The 62nd Grammy Award is scheduled for January 26, 2020. Our own Burna Boy has been nominated. If he wins this award, he will be the first Nigerian artist to win this prestigious award.
Burna Boy’s 19-track album was released on July 26, 2019. Less than six months after its release, it was noticed by the Recording Academy. This is an emblematic gesture.
